Lessons learned by doing 100 push-ups a day for 100 consecutive days
Just finished a self-imposed 100 push-ups a day during 100 consecutive days challenge.
The inspiration?. Blame Noah Kagan: I listened to a podcast where he mentioned this challenge and somehow it resonated with me.
For context, it’s not the first try. Back in June/July 2021, I failed miserably after 21 days with a severe back pain.
Out of nowhere on a cold January Sunday morning, I decided to do 100 pushups, and decided it was the first day of the challenge.
I even added another 100 to the formula. I wanted to do the 100 push-ups during 100 consecutive days and before 10:00am each day. Which I reckon failed 2 or 3 days.
On April 25th I finished the challenge
These are the 8 lessons I learned:
- Our body is stronger and more resilient than we think. Your body gets used. One day It says :”Oh, I now understand, this pain in the morning is a new daily routine. OK, I’ll make it our home now. Daily morning pain is welcome”
- But some days you hate it. You hate yourself for doing this stupid…
