Carbon offsetting e-commerce orders

We need to transition to a more sustainable life, it’s clear that right now our planet is in overload mode. And we humans are the cause.

The covid-19 pandemic accelerated the inevitable trend to more and more e-commerce which at this point in time no one questions will be the most used kind of commerce in a few years.

And e-commerce means shipping. Shipping through the World so, I was decided to investigate can be done. How RSPro can be at least carbon neutral.

It’s obvious the most environmentally friendly option is not having to ship things. Maybe we can reach this stage in a metaverse future. Not yet. Closing the e-commerce is out of the equation also.

Can we use more sustainable mean of transport? We can only choose which couriers do we use, but no the transport.

All in all it seems we’re at a crossroad and the only way to neutralize our impact is through a positive impact. Enter carbon offsetting.

Carbon credits were introduced by the UN. Each credit represents one tonne of CO2 equivalent removed, reduced or avoided altogether from the atmosphere. And those credits can be sold or…
