Why I write

To be totally fair, I write for me, it’s kind of a diary where I put to paper (digital paper) things that I feel I need to articulate to help me understand them better and that I think can be useful for some.

It works like a simplified Feynman technique.

Mr. Feynman putting his technique into practice

Also works to build my brand or if you prefer my equity in the market as Jack Butcher proposes:

In a digital-first business, your “storefront” is decentralised across the platforms you use to build and communicate with your network. Every tweet, every email, every video, every podcast is an investment vehicle that generates equity after you take it to market.

If it never gets to market, no equity for you.

And it works to get out of my comfort zone. I’m naturally introverted so writing in public it’s somehow embarrassing. Feels uncomfortable. It’s hard to do. It’s painful in the short term but only beneficial in the long term.

English is my chosen language because it forces me to practice. Being Spanish my mother tongue, writing in english helps me in keeping a decent english level . I also communicate in english on social media, on my notes applications, calendar and at work where I write all product descriptions and ads. All in english, for a worldwide audience.

And what I write about? My main interests these days are investing, marketing, branding, cycling, longevity and … Porsches.
